FEEL THE LOVE WITH OUR DIY LOVE JARS – PERFECT FOR ANYONE AND EVERYONE!

You Will Need:

  • A Jar (Preferably clear jar with a white lid)
  • Pink/Red Ribbons
  • Scissors
  • PVA glue
  • Sweets/Chocolates/Gifts/Notes (Depending on what type of jar you want to use)

THE SNOW GLOBE JAR

For the perfect DIY snow globe jar – try this fun and easy to make valentines craft gift. Start off by picking a small figure for the jar – this could be any type of figure such as: heart, teddy, flowers. Decorate the lid with ribbon or any other materials. Glue your figure to the lid so the figure should appear upside down when you put the lid on the jar. Use glue that works with water, ask your local craft store which is most suitable. Decorate the inside of the jar and any decorations should be stuck down with glue. Allow the glue to set for 10-12 hours to ensure that the glue will be strong. (THE GLUE SHOULD BE WATERPROOF GLUE). After 10-12 hours, add your choice of glitter to the jar and add water to your snow globe ensuring a gap of 1-2cm is left and place the lid back on. Your snow globe is now ready to use!

*PLEASE NOTE: MAKE SURE THAT ANY DECORATIONS ARE GLUED DOWN AND LEFT FOR 10-12 HOURS SO THE GLUE CAN SET BEFORE ADDING THE WATER*

THE I LOVE YOU JAR

For the perfect gift to give your partner the wow factor – try this super cool DIY idea.  Begin decorating the jar with ribbon. Place inside small heart confetti. Take a piece of paper and cut up into tiny pieces big enough to read your writing. Begin to write 20-30 things you love about your partner.

An alternative to this is filling the jars with small images of you two together.
