Enjoy Easter with an Easter Slime Experiment!
SAFETY:
- Protective clothing such as gloves and googles should be worn at all times when handling chemicals.
- Before you start, it’s a good idea to carry out a patch test.
- Always store chemicals out of reach of pets and children.
The “Shopping List”
- Plastic eggs
- Baby Chicks
- Yellow Food Colouring
- Shaving Cream
- PVA Glue
- Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate
- Saline Solution
- Measuring Cup
- Spoons
- Bowl
STEP 1
Add 3 cups of shaving cream to a bowl.
STEP 2
Mix in 2 cups of glue.
STEP 3
Add yellow food colouring.
STEP 4
Mix in 1/2 teaspoon of Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate.
STEP 5
Add 1 Tablespoon of Saline Solution.
STEP 6
Stir the slime and begin to knead with hands.
STEP 7
Finish by rolling the slime out and placing the plastic eggs and chicks on the slime.
