Immerse yourself in a fun and messy experiment with the Elephant Toothpaste Experiment!
You Will Need:
- 600ml Low Form Beaker
- 500ml Flask
- 1/2 cup of Hydrogen Peroxide 6%
- 1 tablespoon of dry yeast
- 3 tablespoons of warm water
- 1 tablespoon of washing up liquid
- Food Colouring
- 1 small cup
- Safety Googles
- Safety Gloves
- Baking Tray

Step 1
Start off by making sure you have a baking tray down to catch the mess.
Step 2
Add the Hydrogen Peroxide, Food Colouring and washing up liquid to the flask, mix everything together
Step 3
In the beaker, pour the warm water and yeast, mix together
Step 4
Pour the beaker contents of warm water and yeast into the flask and watch the elephant toothpaste appear!
