Make flower bath bombs for your loved one this Valentine’s Day!

YOU WILL NEED:

*For this DIY – wear gloves throughout*

STEP 1

In a clean dry bowl, measure 2 cups of Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate, and 1 cup Citric Acid.

STEP 2

Add 6ml Flower Fragrance Oil. Work the fragrance through the powder mixture. Try and avoid as many clumps as possible. *Please ensure you are wearing gloves throughout this DIY*

STEP 3

Split the mixture in half. *Top Tip: Make sure the bowls you have chosen have enough room to mix by hand*

STEP 4

In one bowl, add 4 drops of Pink Colouring. Rub the powder between your fingers to distribute between the mixture.

STEP 5

Add 4 drops of witch hazel. Rub the witch hazel through the powder. Squeeze the powder in your hand to see if it holds its shape. If it does not, add another drop of witch hazel and repeat until it does. *Please note – avoid adding too much as it will set the bath bomb into a bubbling reaction if too much witch hazel is added!*

STEP 6

Take one half of the bath bomb mould and place 3-4 rose petals at the bottom. Sprinkle some white bath bomb powder over this. Next, sprinkle a small handful of the pink bath bomb powder over the white powder.

STEP 7

Gently pack it in and repeat until one half of the mould is full. Do the same thing to the other side of the mould.

STEP 8

Firmly press the two halves together while twisting. Make sure the interlocking seals are clear of any bath bomb mixture so they can click together. If they don’t push fully together, you can add another pinch of mix between the two halves. If your bath bomb mould is not clicking together, this may be if some mixture is stuck inbetween the mould.

STEP 9

To use – you can either crumble a bit of the bath bomb in your bath, or drop the whole thing in and watch it fizz!

STEP 10

To gift to your other half, place them in a jar and add a bow!
