This DIY provides two different methods for making slime: one using Sodium Tetraborate (Borax) 5% Solution and the other using Epsom Salt. It's a perfect activity for Halloween and can also makes a fantastic decoration in a bowl around the house.

Sodium Tetraborate (Borax) Slime:
Here are the materials you'll need:
Step 1: Pour the hot water into a medium-sized bowl. It should be warm to the touch but doesn't need to be boiling hot.
Step 2: Add the clear glue to the bowl. Ensure that you use non-toxic glue, especially if children are handling the slime.
Step 3: Mix in the glow-in-the-dark paint and stir well to combine. You can find glow-in-the-dark paint at most craft shops.
Step 4: In a separate bowl of hot water, add the Sodium Tetraborate (Borax) 5% Solution and stir until it dissolves.
Step 5: Gradually incorporate the borax solution into the paint mixture, adding it a little at a time while stirring continuously. Keep stirring until you achieve the desired consistency. The slime is now ready to use.
Epsom Salt Slime:
Here are the materials you'll need:
Step 1: Combine the water and Epsom Salt in a medium bowl. Stir until most of the Epsom Salt has dissolved into the water.
Step 2: Add the liquid glue to the bowl and stir to combine. Make sure to choose non-toxic glue, especially when involving children.
Step 3: Mix in the glow-in-the-dark craft paint. Stir the mixture thoroughly until you achieve the desired consistency. The slime is now ready to use.
