Here are the materials you'll need:

Step 1: Soak hair overnight with a protein enriched conditioner for example coconut oil.

Step 2: Thoroughly wash out the conditioner or oil from your hair.

Step 3: Carefully comb your hair to eliminate any tangles.

Step 4: Using a small bottle with an oil nozzle, place a drop of Isopropanol 90-91% on each hair extension bond. While it is still wet, press down on the bond with pliers, applying approximately six gentle squeezes. Avoid attempting to break the bond apart at this stage.

Step 5: Add another drop of Isopropanol 90-91% to the bond and proceed to the next one. Repeat the process of dropping alcohol, squeezing gently, dropping again, and moving on.

Step 6: Maintain moisture on all the bonds as you work. Repeat the cycle continuing around the head and then back to the beginning after two to three passes and it has soaked for a while.

Step 7: Apply another drop of the Isopropanol 90-91%, press a few times gently, and then attempt to slide the extensions off. If an extension does not come off easily, leave it for now and move on. You will notice the bond expanding and turning white as the solvent begins to work.
