Some of the most common uses of hydrogen peroxide include:

Plant Fertiliser and Spray: Although hydrogen peroxide is not a fertiliser itself, it can aid in boosting plant growth when added to water during watering or sprayed onto foliage. The oxygen in hydrogen peroxide can assist plant roots in absorbing nutrients from the soil.

Produce Wash: Hydrogen peroxide can be used as a produce wash to remove dirt from fruits and vegetables, helping to keep them fresh for a longer period.

Sanitising Toothbrushes and Dentures: Hydrogen peroxide can be used to clean dentures effectively. Simply place the dentures in a glass and add hydrogen peroxide (exact amount to be determined through further research). Cover the dentures and let them soak overnight, then rinse them carefully the next day. If hydrogen peroxide is not available, you can use Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate 99%. Mix 2 teaspoons of Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate 99% with enough warm water to cover the dentures.

Teeth Whitening: This should be done under expert advice.

General Disinfectant: Hydrogen peroxide serves as an effective sanitiser, aiding in cleaning and eliminating bacteria. It can be used for washing carpets, floors, and windows to ensure a clean and sanitised environment.

Stain Remover: Hydrogen peroxide can be used as a pre-treatment for removing tough stains on clothing, such as blood, wine, or grass stains. It helps to break down the stains and lift them from the fabric.

Pool and Spa Treatment: Hydrogen peroxide is sometimes used as an alternative to chlorine for treating pool and spa water. It can help control bacteria and algae growth.
