Valentine's Love Balloon Inflation

Get ready to create a love-themed balloon inflation with this experiment!

Here are the materials you'll need:

• HDPE Plastic Bottle
• Balloons
• Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate
• Acetic Acid 6%
• Funnel

Step 1: Use a funnel to carefully add 1 teaspoon of Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate into the balloon. It may be helpful to have two people for this step: one to hold the balloon open and the other to add the Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate.

Step 2: Pour 3 tablespoons of Acetic Acid 6% into the plastic bottle.

Step 3: Gently fit the balloon over the opening of the bottle. Be extra cautious not to allow the Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate to fall into the Acetic Acid 6% at this stage.

Step 4: Once the balloon is securely fitted on the nozzle, lift it up, allowing the Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate to fall into the Acetic Acid 6%.

Watch as the balloon begins to inflate, filling with love and joy!
