Cobalt (II) Chloride Hexahydrate (CoCl2·6H2O) at 97% purity is a compound comprising cobalt, chlorine, and water molecules. It exists as red crystals and is soluble in water. Widely used as an indicator for water in desiccants and as a source of cobalt in chemical synthesis, it undergoes a colour change upon hydration or dehydration, making it useful in humidity indicators and as a catalyst in certain reactions.
