Essential Office Cleaning Hacks for a Productive Workspace

Here are the materials you'll need:

 

Computer, Keyboard and Mouse

Given your daily interaction with the computer, it's important to eliminate any lingering germs or bacteria. A quality product designed for this purpose is recommended such as Isopropanol Alcohol 70%.

Apply the product to a cloth and wipe the computer screen, keyboard and mouse. Remove any excess dirty with a piece of paper towel and dry the surfaces.

 

Desks and Surfaces

Regularly maintaining clean desks and work surfaces helps prevent dust accumulation and potential illnesses, while also creating a more pleasant workspace. For best results, apply Mineralised Methylated Spirits onto surfaces, and rub it in with a cloth. Use a clean cloth to ensure the sprayed areas are fully dry. This product serves multiple purposes, such as removing ink stains, effectively removing dust without damaging wood grain, and acting as a general cleaner.

 

Cleaning Office Windows

Clean windows contribute to a professional and pleasant office environment. To avoid having marks or smudges, spray Isopropanol Alcohol 70% and wipe in an up and down motion. Dry using the same motion.

 

The Bathroom

Bathrooms are high-traffic areas where germs can easily accumulate. To maintain a hygienic environment, dilute 1 part Sodium Hypochlorite 14% and 3 parts water for a stain remover, disinfectant, and freshener. Apply it by using a trigger spray attachment, spraying it on the toilet and other surfaces. Allow it to soak for 2-3 minutes, then flush the toilet to ensure the product is completely removed. Be cautious, as this product may bleach materials. 

CAUTION: Rinse other areas well to avoid any residue.

 

Keeping the Office Fresh

Offices can sometimes develop unpleasant odors due to food, lack of cleaning, or dust. Research suggests that a fresh-smelling office can enhance productivity.
