The HI-766C1 is an ultra-fast penetration K-type thermocouple probe with a handle designed for use with a thermocouple thermometer. A green cable extends 1m (3.3’) from the handle to the thermocouple connector with the meter.

The Ultra-Fast Penetration K-Type Thermocouple Probe with Handle - HI-766C1 is designed to measure the temperature of semi-solids and food samples. The response time of a measurement is affected by the position of the sensor relative to the surface being measured. The HI-766C1 finely pointed tip construction offers a speedy 4-second response for a temperature reading. With a strong, corrosion-resistant, stainless steel construction, this probe is able to measure surfaces up to 300°C (570°F).
